Top of mind for me, and most folks, in the Season of Creation are the critical issues of the climate crisis and the accountability for colonization and the misuse of creation. Faith leads us to travel on the path of justice and right relations. The volume of those stories only grows louder and the urgency for real change is clear. It is the journey of our lifetime.
As I considered an offering for this season, I was drawn to this rather loud fabric on the other side of the spectrum — a song of joy. I need it and maybe you do too.
Whether it’s the chorus of bright bold blooms or the quiet hum of wonderous wings –I wonder if it will sound a note with someone else who wants to reconnect with the joy at the heart of justice-making.
